Tie down space for Summer 2023 at East Hampton Airport

Years to Come!
Voluntary Curfew to Assist in Reducing The Airport’s Noise Footprint
Recognizing the concerns of local residents, the East Hampton Airport (HTO) is working with NetJets to reduce the noise footprint, all operators are asked to work with their clients to make sure their flight plans end by 11:00 PM and do not start until 7:00 AM.
HTO’s existence is guaranteed only until Fall 2021, so these quick and easy NetJet flights to and from the Hamptons are far from assured.
With noise complaints from the local community increasing and some residents even pushing for the airport’s permanent closure, efforts to “be a good neighbor” must be made.
Observing the voluntary curfew times today to align with community interests is a small sacrifice that has to happen to ensure that the luxury of flying into HTO will continue for decades to come.
So buckle up, everyone, and let’s go for a “neighborly” flight!
